Maxsport at Mosport

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

Indycar hit the long sweeping corners of Mosport, It was a lot closer in qualifying than it had been all year round, Yet is was once again Max who grabbed Pole Position but with a slighter margin than normal. Richard managed to take 7th setting his fastest time overall but with all the competition improving on their laps as well, it would be hard to make any real progress through the field.

As the race thundered to life, it was again Max who took a good lead remaining comfortably in front. Rciahrd wasn'r quite as lucky on hard tyres and could not get any tempreture into them until around lap 5, then he slid off the track and heavily bent the front suspension arm and was unable to recover his car so pulled off the track and into his first retirement of the season. Max regained the lead after everyone had pitted folled by Marc DeGras who was unable to get any closer as the laps counted down. with a steady gap of roughtly 7-8 seconds, Max managed his tyres and the gap expertly to bring home another victory,
