Vermin Website Re-Launch

Welcome to our website re-launch, we have been very much active and racing since we last updated our old website and have some very exciting news to share with you all as we continue to grow.

Firstly, let me introduce you to our new website. We have been working hard for months to make the new layout streamlined, modern and also as clean as possible. Hard work from our web expert Nastia, who laid down the ground work for our new site, and also a concentrated effort by Jack, Slava and myself to get the content correct and working correctly.

2019 has been highly successful so far

Vermin Racing Team have had such an amazingly successful season. Working so well as a team, we have pushed Vermin forward in the virtual world and have become team champions in Hooligan Club's F3 series and team champions the most competitive league, Formula Trout, racing against the fastest and best drivers Assetto Corsa has to offer, The ultimate highlight has been clinching the Trout drivers championship with Jack Smith winning the title after a very hard and close fought battle. We continue to build upon our success and also have entered Ace Racing League and been fighting at the front already against more highly competitive drivers. We have expanded our drivers development programme with the creation of Vermin Development Team, with the aim of taking on promising and new drivers and helping them improve with our main team knowledge and assistance, Slava heads the team, with two promising drivers in Alex Cochrane and Max Hamelink already showing promise and improvement.

DAC have become our technical partners since last season and we share some data between the two teams after we sadly had to end our partnership with Dragonspirit prematurely and wish them all the best for their future as we head into our own exciting one. Vermin Racing has expanded into the real world with Vermin Formula Experience.

Vermin Formula Experience

Vermin Formula Experience was launched with the aim to provide a unique opportunity for young racing talent and sim racing drivers the real experience of a Formula Renault specification car. We want to provide the comparision between real and sim racing, also with the potential to provide that stepping stone to real motorsport that many drivers may never have. What better way to experience the real thrill of motorsport than with a fully prepared real life race car test and simulated training programme before hitting the track? We want to blur the lines between sim and real life motorsport. Please check out our Vermin Formula Experience page for more information.

Another exciting announcment: we have partnered with Formula Trout and will be offering an actual experience in the Formula Renault to the winner* of the series. We still have to finalise some details but for more information please continue to check out Formula Trout and our own news sections. *terms and conditions apply and yet to be finalised

As we head into the weekend, we have an exciting one off event, one of the fastest events in Assetto Corsa, The Formula Trout Indy 100. We are looking great in practice but we also want to look great on track, so we present the Indy 100 livery, a sneak peak at our new livery design for the remainder of the 2019 season going into 2020.

We enter with Maxi Junger, Oscar Williams, Richard Tippet and Max Hamelink with the hope of us performing well and getting the prestigious event win and enjoying that glass of milk on Victory road but it will be a hard and close event.

And now we introduce our 2019-2020 Livery design! After such a successful season for us here at Vermin Racing, securing both constructors and drivers championships, it was time to take a break and think about what’s coming next. Next season, we could be running a brand new F3 car, made by the guys over at Race Sim Studio who kindly released the fantastic mod for free, and we decided it would be a good idea to start designing our brand new livery based around this car. The result? Well, we think it looks great. Richard designed it from scratch using a more simplistic design that works very well. The base of the car is dark carbon fibre which really lets the brighter Vermin Green and Geek-E Blue shine through. As well as this, this F3 variant will be the first to fully endorse the Vermin Formula Experience brand, which is a huge step for us.

But we are not done yet. Towards the end of the season we introduced the Vermin Development Team, a sister team that focused on developing its drivers in the hopes of them gaining knowledge and race craft through the guidance of the drivers in the main team. We are happy to announce that we will continue with this team into the new season and we cannot wait to see the outcomes towards the end of the season. We also created a new livery for the team, mainly endorsing the Vermin Formula Experience brand with a unique livery that uses the VDT colour scheme, with the added VFE Red to create a great looking contrast.

Now let’s talk seats! In the VRT side, not much changes with Maxi, Oscar and Jack rounding out those seats, and Richard will stay on as test and setup development driver. VDT however is where it’s all change. Slava heads the trio as Alex Cochrane and new signing Max Hamelink join alongside him. Alex has proven himself an excellent team member so far in the months that we have worked together he has shown dedication and also great team work and we have strengthened our partnership with DAC because of this. He is a knowledgable and very technical driver. Max arrived to us upon a reccomendation from his countryman Maxi, it quickly became apparent that Max was very skilled and quick and has impressed with his work ethic and speed so far, he has slotted comfortably into our team and debuted at one of the hardest tracks but managed to not only finish strongly, but gained praise from other drivers on his race craft. We can't wait to start the new season with the new car, and we look forward to some more awesome racing in season 4 of the Formula Trout F3 Season. Welcome to both drivers and hopefully we can make them more successful.

As mentioned we are looking for sponsorship for both the Virtual and Real team, We have created a sponsorship pack to explain better our goals as well as the benefits to sponsors. As the leagues we race in grow with us the opportunity to reach new customers via platforms which live stream: Twitch and Youtube grows in tandem, we offer a range of options for sponsors as well to be an affordable advertising space for any company or partner. If you would like to know more please use our contact page.

Thanks everyone and will see you all in the next blog.
