The Lithium series kicked off last weekend with Monaco. After a week of appeals and incident reports, finally the results are finalised enough to post our results. Maxi Junger drove a brilliant lap to grab pole, with Oscar Williams lining up 3rd on the grid, Maxi leading all the way to the end from start to finish looking very quick and very comfortable took a great Victory in race 1. Oscar was tipped into a spin by one of the Nova Finlandia, which set the tone for the race, and could only recover to 6th, behind the Triple Eight Drivers of Alex Cochrane and Dave Southword who drove brilliantly to 4th and 5th respectively.
Race 2 was a very messy affair, Oscar showed his class and brillance with one of the best moves at Monaco, going around the outside of Ciprian Stoian at the Lowes/Casino Hairpin for the lead of the race, both drivers really respectful with the move. Once Oscar was in the lead it was an easier cruise to victory. Meanwhile an actual battle between Maxi and Jaap Wagenvoort for 5th was becoming very scruffy between the pair as they made contact several times throughout and would cost them positions as eventually Wagenvoort would place ahead of Maxi by finishing 6th and Maxi in 7th, Both however lost out to Alex who crossed the line in 5th. Dave finished in 0th after a long race.
A lot of the results were not able to be finalised until all the evidence was reviewed, but this was one of the most chaotic races in the leaques history with reports up and down the field.
Here is the replay of the event.
